No 36 Booking Terms and Conditions. Duration & Timings Rentals are for a maximum of four weeks and commence at 4.00pm on the first day of the rental and end at 10.00am on  the day of departure unless otherwise agreed. You are more than welcome to use the facilities on site either side of these times. The period booked will be stated on the Booking Confirmation provided and cannot be exceeded. Deposits & Final Payments A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking and the balance is payable six weeks prior to arrival.  If booking is made less than six weeks prior to arrival full payment is required on booking. The rent for the property shall be agreed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel any booking where the full balance has not been paid within 6 weeks of arrival.  We will make every effort to contact you prior to cancelling and we will not cancel a booking without attempting to contact you via telephone and e-mail.   Damage Waiver On final payment a £500 refundable damage waiver is also required. All breakages / accidents / damage incurred during your stay or any issues that you identify must be notified prior to the final day of departure. This will ensure that we are able to make suitable replacements / repairs so that the following guests will not be inconvenienced. Damage waivers are returned, within 5 days of departure, via bank transfer, subject to confirmation from our housekeeper. Any damage or excess cleaning discovered by our housekeeper will be notified within 5 days of departure, and we will contact you via e-mail informing you of any charges and provide photographs where possible. Method of Payment Payments can be made by cheque or electronic bank transfer. Cheques can only be accepted two weeks prior to a late booking. Any charges incurred by dishonoured cheques or bank transfers must be reimbursed by the guest. Cancellation A booking can only be cancelled prior to the start of the rental and must be sent in writing. If another booking can be arranged for that period a refund, less deposit paid, will be given, otherwise all payments made will be forfeit. At our discretion, in exceptional circumstances, we may waive this clause. The Owners Obligations To provide the specified accommodation in a clean and tidy condition that conforms to the description given on the website.  In the event of any discrepancy the guest should notify the owner of such as soon as possible in order that it can be rectified. The Guests Obligations To pay for any loss or damage however caused by the guest or a member of their party, excluding reasonable wear and tear, incurred during the occupation, unless the cost can be fully recovered under our household insurance policy, any excess on the policy will have to be paid by the guest. To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the holiday rental. Guests must not adjust boiler settings To permit reasonable access should it become necessary. Not to part with any of the owners property or share it with anyone other than the named persons on the booking form. Not to sell or transfer the booking to another party  nor to exceed the total number of people stipulated unless  by prior consent. Not to cause an annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of adjoining properties. Non-Smoking Lodge 36 is strictly a non-Smoking lodge and we appreciate your understanding on this. A £1,000.00 fine will be applied if this is not adhered to. Internet   The resort provides a wifi service as follows; FREE standard internet access for guests up to 4MB. Should you require greater speed this can be purchased at reception. At the time of writing the charges are: High Speed - up to 16MB - £5/£10,£15 for 1/3/7 nights respectively Super Speed - up to 64MB - £10/£20,£30 for 1/3/7 nights respectively NB - Charges are per internet device. Rubbish Guests are asked to deposit all their refuse and recycling in the recycling centre (please ensure that you use the correct section for the appropriate kind of refuse you are disposing).  Alternatively your rubbish and recycling can be collected from the lodge if left visible at the front of the property.   Dogs Dogs are only permitted by agreement at the time of booking and a charge of £25 per dog is made. A maximum of two dogs of specific breeds are allowed. The Dangerous Dog Act is adhered to at Retallack Resort where a small number of breeds are not permitted (American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasileiro, Doga Argentino). To ensure that we can continue to welcome guests’ dogs the hirer must undertake the following; Please bring your own dog bedding and covers Dogs must not be left unattended in the lodge unless caged Must remain on the ground floor Are not permitted on furniture or beds Must be kept on a lead at all times on site All faecal matter must be picked up & disposed of in onsite bins; do not allow dogs to foul on the decking Dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) are not permitted in any building except lodge 36 Should the site management deem your dog to be acting dangerously or to be causing a nuisance, or threat to anyone, they reserve the right to request the dog be removed from the property. Should this occur we would not provide a refund or compensation. We only allow dogs in Lodge 36. No other pets are permitted. Baby & Toddler Equipment   Baby & Toddler equipment; Stairgates top & bottom, High Chair, 2x Toddler chairs, 2x Travel cots, Baby bath, Potty, Safe Step, Changing Mat, plastic plates & cutlery  are provide free of charge but if used must be left in a clean and hygienic condition. If not a cleaning charge of £25 will be retained from the damage waiver. Resort Facilities    The price of your accommodation also includes the use of the resort gym, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, pitch & putt golf course, tennis courts (equipment hire is chargeable) and children’s play area. We cannot accept responsibility for the availability, condition etc. of any site facilities. When making use of resort facilities guests of Lodge 36 must comply with all resort safety guidelines and codes of conduct. Please note Retallack Resort and Spa will not accept liability for any accidents resulting from the misuse of any equipment. Resort Rules As a lodge on the Retallack Resort & Spa our guests are required to respect all site safety guidelines and codes of conduct. The resort operates a 5mph speed limit and also has several steep speed bumps on the resort, so please take extra care especially with lower cars. Liability We cannot accept responsibility for any material loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience directly or indirectly caused by or arising out of the property and its, plumbing, gas, electrical or otherwise, or exceptional weather. No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage of property (including pets), vehicles or vehicle contents belonging to the Hirer or any member of the party during the occupancy. If for any reason beyond our control, the property should not be available, or is no longer suitable for occupation on the dates booked a full refund will be given, but we will be under no further liability towards you. Breach of Contract    If there is any breach of these conditions, by the guest or any member of the party, the owners reserve the right to re-enter the property, end the holiday and ask the guest and their party to leave.
